Welcome SJV Parents!

I’m Stephanie George, a local child and family photographer based in Kirkland, and I’m so honored to be returning to photograph your children this year.

As a mom myself, every time I walk into a school, I’m reminded how quickly these seasons fly by. My goal is to pause time (just for a moment) and give you portraits that reflect your child’s spirit - no stiff poses!

Thank you for trusting me. I can’t wait to share these portraits with you.

FAQ

  • Keep it classic! Portraits taken from the chest up.

    • Solids, textures, and small prints (keep the focus on their face).

    • Colors that flatter their skin tones or compliment their eyes.

    • Skip logos, graphics, and distracting hair accessories. Simple is best!

    • Avoid solid black which can blend into the dark background.

Check out my blog to see examples: What to Wear for School Portraits

  • Taken on a classic black background, these timeless photographs put all the focus on your child. The results can be proudly displayed on the walls of your home.

Parents receive a full gallery of authentic expressions and poses rather than one forced smile as expected with typical school photos. See my favorite poses!

  • Your child’s gallery is a time capsule capturing a variety of angles and expressions (because you can’t get this time back). The full digital gallery allows you to have all your child’s photos at less than the price of three single digitals and download immediately.

The number of images in each child’s gallery will vary depending on how comfortable and expressive they are in front of the camera.

  • Within 2-3 weeks of portrait days, your school will send a link to your online viewing gallery.

Select your favorite poses and order digital files, print packages, and canvases.

Digital files can be downloaded immediately after purchase.

Print products will be delivered to your school approx. 2 weeks after the ordering period has closed.

  • YES! I enjoy working with families and especially those whose children already know me from school portrait days.

“Oh my goodness, I can’t even describe how much we love these photos and how much they mean to us. They literally brought tears to my husband’s eyes.”
